Undersheriff Chance Walkama has over 15 years of law enforcement experience. He began his career as a detention deputy and K-9 handler at the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office. He later worked for the Pine Bluffs, WY, Police Department for nine years and served as Police Chief for three years. He is an Air Force veteran and a commissioned officer in the Wyoming National Guard. He holds a master’s degree in human resources and a bachelor’s in finance.
