Orion Danjuma serves as counsel at Protect Democracy working on elections and voting rights. For six years prior to that, he was a staff attorney with the ACLU’s Racial Justice Program focusing on the impact of legal financial obligations on vulnerable communities, as well as issues at the intersection of voting rights and racial justice. Before joining the ACLU, Orion clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.
