CSSE Co-Chairs: Reprehensible Shooting at White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner

“The shooting that happened this evening at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner is beyond reprehensible. It’s unimaginable that a room full of hundreds of public servants and members of the media, who are together to honor the freedom of the press, have to worry about their physical safety and wellbeing.

As with each of these tragic occurrences, we thank the Secret Service, Metropolitan DC Police Department, and all other members of law enforcement and first responders. Stay safe and thank you for you dedication.”

–CSSE Co-chairs Tina Barton and Maj. Christopher Grotton (ret.)
