
Lori serves as the Vice President of Government Relations for Enhanced Voting, the fastest-growing election technology provider. She has joined a passionate team with backgrounds in election security, development, design, and customer service. Lori works to support election officials and voters with cutting-edge tools and reliable resources that enhance the election process from start to finish.
Prior to joining Enhanced Voting, Lori served as an Election Security Advisor for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), leading the agency’s election security engagement in Region 10, which includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. While at CISA, Lori connected state and local election leaders to CISA services to better prepare for and protect elections as critical infrastructure.
She also served as the Director of Elections for the Washington Office of the Secretary of State, where she was responsible for the oversight of all federal, state, and local elections. Before that, Lori worked for nearly 18 years as a local election official in the Pierce County Auditor’s Office.
Lori currently serves as a member of the Committee for Safe and Secure Elections, a participant on the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Task Force on Elections, and is a Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA). Previously, she served as President of the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED), as a member of the Election Assistance Commission’s Technical Guidelines Development Committee, and as part of both the Department of Homeland Security’s Elections Critical Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council and the Sector Coordinating Council. She was also a founding member of the Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center (EI-ISAC).
With 30 years of experience leading both state and local elections, working in the private elections sector, and directing a national elections nonprofit organization, Lori has dedicated her career to conducting safe, secure, and accessible elections for voters across the country.
She lives in the Puget Sound region and is a graduate of the University of Washington, holding a B.A. in politics, philosophy, and economics.
