The Committee for Safe and Secure Elections (CSSE) ensures that elections are free, fair, and secure. With an increase in threats against public servants, their staff, and the election infrastructure, law enforcement works together to strengthen collaborations to keep elections safe and secure. The starting point is to meet with election counterparts and with other stakeholders. This first step is essential to success in the process and requires mutual understanding of others’ operating environments.
