Virtual Event — Digital and Physical Security Best Practices: Doxxing and Swatting

Join The Elections Group and the Committee for Safe and Secure Elections at 12pm EST, Thursday, January 18 on Zoom for a conversation on digital and physical security best practices for election officials in 2024, as public officials face high-profile instances of doxxing and swatting.

The conversation will include The Elections Group’s Chief Technology Officer Trevor Timmons; Husson University’s Associate Vice President for Public Safety and Security Christopher Grotton, who retired as a Major for the Maine State Police after a 31-year career; and Justin Smith, the former Larimer County, Colorado, Sheriff and a law enforcement advisor for The Elections Group. Both Grotton and Smith are members of the Committee for Safe and Secure Elections.

The Elections Group Senior Election Expert and Committee for Safe and Secure Elections member Tina Barton will moderate the conversation.
